Half Year Gone

Yesterday was the 1st of July and for all you know, half a year is gone. A very interesting and eventful half a year it had been. Important events that have charted the course of the country plus all the intriques that come with it. A lot of political developments and a lot of economic decisions also that will affect the day today Malaysians

Since nothing interesting is happening that day, I went to play golf with Haji Omar, Dato Rahmat Jamari and Yusuf Hashim. The Kuala Lumpur Golf and Country Club's East Course is very well maintained now and its a beautiful morning to be out on the course. We played a system which was devised by Yusuf where the ball that has the fewest points will have to pay for breakfast after the first nine. I escape being the paymaster due to a miracle.

The second nine was entirely a new episode. If one is not careful, it can be very expensive cos the ball with the lowest points will have to pay for lunch. Anyway to cut the story short, yours truly had some good drives, approach and remarkable putts and manage to score one birdie and four pars ending the second nine with 22 points and nearly escaping a miracle at the 18th hole.

So all in all, it has been a good day. Free breakfast and lunch. A good day's exercise and they are very pleasant company. We had enjoyed the day and had good fun and laughter.

Now, lets face the next half a year with vigour and courage, its not going to be easy but I pray that we will be able to survive and ride out the difficult times.
